My name is Linda Dammann, I am born in Haarlem, The Netherlands and I am living in Maaseik, Belgium as from 1995. I discovered painting in 2006 and immediately fell in love and still whenever I start to paint I lose track of time. Over the years I developed myself in various styles. By mainly using natural colours, my artwork is always in balance and have a certain serenity. Because earth tones have a calming and soothing atmosphere that plays an important role in my work. Give yourself some peace of mind and let you your eyes guide you to discover new things in my art. There is abstract work and figurative work or a combination of both. Because of the variation in light and dark, I try to show the light in everything around you, there is always a bright spot at the horizon, try to look at the positive side, appreciate the little things, a beautiful cloud, a smile from a stranger, a sunny day. Happiness can be everywhere. There is abstract work and figurative work or a combination of both. My preference is for acrylic paint in combination with various mixed media in order to create a depth in my artwork.
